THE FOUNDER, JANE SHEPHERD

Born and raised in the city of angels, Los Angeles, Jane Shepherd had always dreamt of one day having a restaurant of her own to manage.

Seeing her passion for the culinary arts, her parents tempered her talents by putting her through the best schools. And upon graduating from college, she immediately poured her inheritance towards the MyStake Restaurant and Bar with the help of her long-time friend, Elena Fisher.

THE BARTENDER, ELENA FISHER

A and native of California and a renowned bartender, Elena Fisher had worked in a number of bars before joining her friend, Jane Shepherd, in setting up the MyStake Restaurant and Bar. Using her expertise and contacts in the industry, she was able to secure additional funding for the establishment. And as a result, allowed it to start.

With MyStake’s success, she has now retired from her original bartending duties and instead has taken a more managerial approach in running the business. However, she continues to train our bartenders to ensure that the quality of the drink remains consistently high.

THE REST OF THE CREW

While the vision of the founder and expertise of both the bartender and chef are essential factors that have contributed to the success of the MyStake Restaurant and Bar, we could not have achieved the level of growth that we had needed without the tireless work of the rest of our crew.

They are, after all, the foundation of the business. And it is through them that we continue to stay relevant in the industry.

CHEF JOHN SHEPHERD

Brother of Jane Shepherd, John’s services was secured soon after the establishment of MyStake Restaurant and Bar.

With his experience in the restaurant business and his skills that would rival multi-star Michelin chefs, MyStake’s continued success is partly due to his famous, world-class dishes.

Our history

The MyStake Restaurant and Bar may be one of the newest establishments in the lovely city of Los Angeles, California, but the idea behind it was created years ago by its founder, Jane Shepherd.

A shrewd businesswoman and a passionate cook, she alongside her good friend and famous bartender, Elena Fisher, got together and put up MyStake to compete with other similar establishments that were charging too much but delivering much less.

With our honest business practices and focus on customer satisfaction, we have managed to secure near-immediate success. And with our continued growth in the industry, our goal is to not just be an alternative but rather the first and only option for those looking for a good place to MyStake.
